Abstracts
Proposals to speak are open until December 1st, 2025!
We are accepting proposals for talks across two strands:
- Showcasing the many ways that our diverse community uses R
- Working with LGBTQ+ data
Share with the audience how you use R in your professional career across all disciplines, or for personal projects. We’re open to talks on any R-related topic, including R packages and web-apps, analytics and modeling, emerging trends in R, and ways to foster community and collaboration. Additionally, we would love to hear from the data practitioners who use R to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues!
Attendance at the conference is open to LGBTQ+ folks and allies. We expect speakers to be LGBTQ+.
The types of abstracts we are accepting includes:
- Regular talks (20 minutes): Speakers are encouraged to keep their presentations 15–17 minutes to allow for a Q&A. Preferably pre-recorded.
- Lightning talks (5 minutes): A brief talk, which must be pre-recorded.
Abstracts should (up to) 150 words.
Pre-recording
For the smooth-running of the conference, we require that all lightning talks are pre-recorded. We would prefer for regular talks to be pre-recorded, though we will not require this.
